lyrics

There's a crack in the sky that let's the last sun's rays through
Orange and grey with a splash of a little blue
And the distance here between A and B
Is further on than any eye can see - much further

And we could meet again out on that coast
With those breakers rolling in and trade winds blow
Blowing

He was moving through hemispheres, glass was falling
Reciting a mariner's tale right before me
And I can't show any gratitude
Press-ganged into these latitudes without warning

And we could meet again on that big coast
Where the siren's song is calling to his ghost
"This is nowhere ..."

There's a crack in the sky that let's the last sun's rays through
Orange and grey with a splash of a little blue
And I was watching from the rail
He had one eye on the weather and the other on the topsail

And we could meet again out on that coast
Where those trade winds blow and spirits playing host
With those breakers rolling in and crashing down
I don't see him anymore but they say his ghost is still around
